Hi, I’m Ryan — the person behind Searcha Co, a solo studio in Roseville that just launched two privacy‑focused search engines: Seek Ninja and Searcha Page.

I think the web should be better — less tracking, fewer shadow profiles, and more transparency. On June 18, 2025, I started Searcha Co to prove that one person can build a powerful, privacy‑friendly search engine.

With less than $4,000 invested and many late nights, I built an independent crawler covering around two billion pages. Every piece of code and design has come directly from me, using standard hardware and cloud GPUs. The result? A fast, effective search system that rivals much bigger projects from the past. Now I need your feedback.

Here’s what I’ve created so far:

  • Seek Ninja: Completely privacy‑first. It refuses tracking cookies, keeps no permanent logs, and still works even if you disable cookies entirely. It’s funded by simple, tracker‑free ads, and users often find fresher, unique content here compared to bigger search engines.
  • Searcha Page: Designed around user experience with a fully independent backend. It’s clean, minimalist, and will soon add maps, improved context, and other features as it grows.

Right now, both search engines are in open beta, and I need your feedback to make them better. Every suggestion directly helps me improve the services, with weekly updates.

Check them out at https://seek.ninja or https://searcha.page. Let me know what you think through the feedback tools or email me at chief@searcha.co.

Let’s redefine privacy‑focused search together. Thanks for joining the journey!

Ryan
