Our Story on Dev.to: From a Dream to a Laundry Room Data Center
1 min readWe’re incredibly excited to share that we’ve just published a personal, behind-the-scenes story about the founding of Searcha Co on the popular developer community site, Dev.to.
The article, titled “From Dream to Laundry Room: Building a Google-Sized Search Engine, Solo,” covers the entire journey—from the initial dream that sparked the project to the technical and personal challenges of building a fully independent search engine as a solo founder.
It all started with a dream. Not a vision for a billion-dollar startup, but a literal, vivid dream about the internet of my childhood: that wonderfully weird, deeply personal, and endlessly surprising web of the late ’90s and early 2000s.
We believe in transparency and sharing our journey with the community. This story is our way of showing the passion, the hardware, and the philosophy that drives Searcha Co, Seek Ninja, and Searcha Page.
We invite you to read the full story, join the conversation in the comments, and see the laundry-room data center for yourself.
