First Week of Beta: Privacy Enhancements & Early Feedback

Key Updates

  • Privacy Upgrades on Seek Ninja Community feedback helped us close several minor fingerprint‑surface holes and strengthen request‑header stripping, making Seek Ninja even tighter without adding latency.

  • Performance Tuning Underway We profiled our search pipeline and have undergone some minor performance improvements.

  • Contextual‑Search Experiment A large‑scale test of query‑context ranking is running behind the scenes. If it shows an objective lift in relevance, we’ll roll it out; if not, we’ll fold the learnings into future iterations. Either way, no personal data is involved—context comes from the query, not the user.

This will roll out to both https://searcha.page and https://seek.ninja.

  • Index Still Growing The crawler hasn’t stopped. Coverage keeps climbing and freshness is improving by the hour.

  • Soft‑Launch Outreach Word is spreading organically via social and DMs. We haven’t pushed for formal press yet; product solidity comes first.

  • Building Our Web Presence You’ll notice subtle UX tweaks across searcha.co as we streamline copy, tighten navigation, and improve accessibility.

Overall, it’s been a productive—and humbling—first week of open beta. Huge thanks to everyone who tested, filed issues, and shared the project!
